S&P Celebrates Groundbreaking for Galena Park ISD North Shore Multi-Use Facility

Satterfield & Pontikes Construction (S&P) joined Galena Park Independent School District, community leaders, and project partners to celebrate the groundbreaking of the North Shore High School Multi-Use Facility and Field House Complex.

Located adjacent to the District Stadium, this high-profile athletics project will expand training capacity and enhance the overall student-athlete experience. The development includes a new indoor practice facility featuring an 80-yard field, along with a 40-yard exterior practice field.

The project also includes significant upgrades to existing infrastructure, including the renovation of the current field house, a new 40-foot-wide high-volume weight room addition, and the conversion of portions of the existing space into meeting rooms and offices. Additional scope includes site and pavement improvements, relocation of the band practice field, and upgrades to fire protection and domestic water systems.

S&P is proud to partner with Galena Park Independent School District, VLK Architects, and Rice & Gardner on this innovative facility.

Substantial completion is scheduled for Spring 2027.
