The Kimpton Fredericksburg Breaks Ground

Satterfield & Pontikes Construction (S&P) and DC Partners recently celebrated the groundbreaking of the Kimpton Fredericksburg, a new luxury lifestyle hotel that will serve as the centerpiece of The Meuse—a 22-acre mixed-use community in the heart of Fredericksburg, Texas.

“Our goal isn’t to transform this place; it’s to complement it. To honor the heritage while elevating the visitor experience. We want to evolve the city’s comprehensive vision, and we’ve worked closely with them over the past two years to really craft the right project for Fredericksburg,” said Blake Berg, VP of Construction and Development at DC Partners.

The new 210-room hotel will blend the city’s unique character with elevated hospitality. The property will feature a 10,000-square-foot resort-style pool and deck, a modern fitness center, a signature restaurant, and 18,500 square feet of flexible event space—including an event barn, rooftop lounge and inviting outdoor gathering areas.

Construction on Kimpton Fredericksburg is expected to be completed in 2027.
