S&P Welcomes Michael Moss as Vice President of Strategy & Development

Satterfield & Pontikes Construction (S&P) is pleased to announce the addition of Michael Moss as Vice President of Strategy & Development. Moss brings more than 25 years of global experience in strategy, market analysis, business development, and operations, with a track record of driving growth and innovation across the construction, energy, and infrastructure sectors.

Throughout his career, Moss has held executive leadership roles where he led major capital projects, guided commercial strategies, and managed operations across the U.S., Latin America, and the Asia-Pacific region. His expertise includes overseeing multimillion-dollar portfolios, advancing ESG initiatives, and delivering results in highly complex environments.

Moss is known for his ability to bridge technical knowledge with business strategy, having worked across engineering, legal, and operational functions. He has frequently served as the principal point of contact for high-value clients and stakeholders, negotiated multi-phase development deals, and presented at industry conferences to promote innovation and market solutions.

In his new role at S&P, Michael will help shape the company’s long-term vision, guide strategic initiatives, support new market opportunities, and oversee our team of Market Sector Leaders as they drive growth across key business areas.

Moss holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Missouri–Rolla (now known as Missouri University of Science and Technology), a Juris Doctor, and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Missouri–Kansas City. He is fluent in English and Spanish.
