S&P Names Elizabeth Stemac as Senior Director, Business Development

Elizabeth Stemac has been named Senior Director, Business Development of Satterfield & Pontikes Construction, Inc. In this new role, Stemac will focus primarily on the Houston market to develop and identify opportunities that complement the company’s strong education portfolio and leverage its growing Centers of Excellence in the healthcare, aviation and mission critical sectors.
The appointment marks Stemac’s return to S&P following business development roles at Skanska USA and, most recently, Project Control. She has extensive experience in the successful development of sector growth and furthering client and partner relationships based on in-depth knowledge of construction technology and alternative delivery mechanisms. Stemac has worked in markets including higher education, government, commercial, healthcare, aviation and technology.

Stemac has a degree from Drake University. She entered the construction industry while working for McGraw-Hill Construction, selling Dodge Reports, and subsequently acted as an account manager in McGraw-Hill’s magazine group, selling ads and sponsorships for a group of regional trade magazines, including Texas Construction. She is a graduate of Leadership Houston XXXIV, and is an active member of several business organizations, including CoreNet, NAIOP, Society for Marketing Professionals, Urban Land Institute, Women in Healthcare and the Greater Houston Partnership.
