S&P Hires Taimoor Khan as Vice President of Preconstruction
Satterfield & Pontikes Construction (S&P) has hired industry veteran Taimoor Khan as its new Vice President, Preconstruction. In this role, Khan will be responsible for Preconstruction process improvements, career path development as well as best practice project estimation and reporting procedures to add client value.
A construction professional with more than 16 years of experience, Khan comes to S&P from ERDMAN in Madison, WI, where he was Director of Preconstruction and helped grow business volume as well as improve estimating efficiency. Previously, he held preconstruction and BIM management positions for construction companies in the upper Midwest region.
“Taimoor’s leadership in estimating and preconstruction planning, scheduling, reporting and execution is highly regarded by us and others in the industry,” says S&P President Clay E. Khan, who will office from S&P’s headquarters in Houston, has a M.S. in Construction Management from Western Michigan University where has acted as an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Construction Engineering since 2010. He also holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Engineering & Technology in Pakistan. He is a LEED Accredited professional as well as a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer and a Cisco Certified network Associate.
