S&P Family of Companies Announces Promotion of Two New Safety Directors

Satterfield & Pontikes is pleased to announce the promotion of Mario Garcia to Director of Safety for S&P and Raudel Garcia to Director of Safety over S&P’s subsidiaries. In their new roles, they will be responsible for administering and continuously improving our nationally recognized safety program, oversee their respective safety teams, create initiatives to prevent accidents on site, as well as conduct audits and trainings.  

As an industry veteran of 25 years, Mario brings a thorough knowledge of what it takes to maintain a safe project from start to finish. His strengths in troubleshooting, problem-solving, as well as planning and implementing proactive procedures ensures a safe and productive job site. He is experienced in OSHA and worksite safety and has a successful history of investigating damage, accidents, or delays at construction sites to ensure that proper procedures are being carried out. Mario holds the CSHO certification and has been with S&P for 25 years. 

As an expert in risk assessment for self-perform operations, Raudel leverages his 21 years of industry experience to maintain ongoing compliance. He diligently conducts regular risk assessments and implements control measures to minimize hazards. He promotes safety awareness and creates an environment of growth and continuous learning within his team. Adopting a hands-on approach to leadership, he sets clear expectations and metrics and holds individuals and teams accountable for their safety responsibilities. He leads by example and demonstrates his commitment to safety through his actions and decisions. Raudel holds the CSHO certification and has been with S&P’s family of companies for 11 years.
