S&P Celebrates Ribbon Cutting with Elgin ISD
Satterfield & Pontikes Construction (S&P) was honored to attend the ribbon cutting ceremony celebrating the completion of Elgin ISD’s newest addition, Trinity Ranch Elementary School. The 84,000-square-foot campus is the second elementary school S&P has delivered for the district as part of its 2021 bond program, which was passed to support district-wide growth in this rapidly growing community. The S&P team joined members of the construction team, district leaders, and community members to celebrate the opening of this innovative campus.
“It is a very exciting day,” said Elgin ISD Superintendent Dr. Jana Rueter. “So much has come together so well to make this happen, and I cannot say thank you enough to every single one of you in this room who has made this happen. The foundational support that we have in this community is just amazing.”
Trinity Ranch Elementary features a gymnasium, enhanced security measures, an interior courtyard with outdoor learning spaces, a media center, library, makerspace, art room, music room, cafeteria, and modern classrooms. The thoughtful design, provided by Pfluger Architects, brings natural light to all classrooms through the interior courtyard, which also serves as an outdoor learning environment.
“I’m so happy, honored, grateful—all the emotions you can imagine to be the first principal of Trinity Ranch Elementary School. It has been a long journey, but it has been wonderful every single step of the way,” stated Trinity Ranch Principal Dr. Arthur Martinez.
Trinity Ranch Elementary is now open to 800 Pre-K through fifth grade students, with room to grow alongside the district. Congratulations to Elgin ISD on the opening of your beautiful new school!
