S&P Celebrates Groundbreaking of Station 21 at Dallas Love Field
Satterfield & Pontikes Construction (S&P) was proud to break ground on the construction of the Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting (ARFF) Station 21 at Dallas Love Field! Standing alongside our partners at City of Dallas Fire Department, City of Dallas Department of Aviation Infrastructure and Development, HNTB, PGAL, and Garver, we celebrated the beginning of construction on this innovative project.
“This new fire station will be a state-of-the-art facility reflecting not only modern capabilities but allowing Dallas to not only show the highest level of public safety,” said Kimberly Bizor Tolbert, Dallas City Manager. “It will also serve as a testament to our mission of maintaining and enhancing emergency response standards.”
The new 35,000 square-foot facility combines efficiency and sustainability that will serve both ARFF Station 21 functions and personnel as well as the Department of Aviation’s Airside Operations Division. The project also includes a new access roadway, complex utilities and state-of-the-art communications systems.
“Our team is eager to turn this vision into reality,” said Jason Haralson, S&P Senior Vice President, Dallas. “We’re committed to helping build a safer, more resilient future for Dallas Love Field and The City of Dallas.”
The Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting (ARFF) Station 21 at Dallas Love Field is expected to complete Fall 2025.
