S&P Celebrates Grand Opening of Fort Bend County Epicenter

Satterfield & Pontikes Construction (S&P) is proud to announce the successful completion of the Fort Bend County Epicenter. This state-of-the-art multi-purpose facility, spanning 230,000 SF, has officially opened its doors to the community, offering a versatile and dynamic space for a wide range of events.

Speaking about the admirable work of S&P, Kevin Matocha, President of Stonehenge Holdings stated, “I commend S&P for their professionalism and the way the team attacked this project head on. When you really look at it, this was supposed to be a 24-month development process, from the moment we were able to let S&P mobilize all the way to completion. Realistically, they had about 14 months to build this facility. This is a massive jigsaw puzzle. This team was extremely competent. When they tell you they’re going to do something, they do it. That’s worth everything. I definitely wouldn’t do it again without them.”

This monumental project, for which S&P served as the general contractor, brings together the finest in architectural design and construction craftsmanship to provide a premier venue for sports, entertainment, meetings, and exhibitions in Fort Bend County and beyond.

Key Features of the Fort Bend County Epicenter Include:

Versatility: With 230,000 square feet of space, the Epicenter accommodates tournaments and events of all sizes. The arena features 8,600 fixed seats, with a total capacity exceeding 10,000 attendees. This flexibility allows the venue to be scaled up or down as needed to meet the unique requirements of each event.

VIP Experience: The Epicenter boasts a VIP Lounge above the seating area, complete with a full bar and lounge, ensuring an exclusive and memorable experience for VIP guests.

Event and Meeting Spaces: The facility offers various event and meeting spaces, making it an ideal choice for corporate gatherings, conferences, and community events. These versatile spaces are equipped with cutting-edge technology and amenities.

Outdoor Pavilion: A standout feature of the Epicenter is its 38,000-square-foot outdoor pavilion space, designed to host livestock shows, equestrian competitions, and agricultural events. This outdoor area enhances the venue’s capabilities, further contributing to its importance within the community.

The completion of the Fort Bend County Epicenter demonstrates S&P’s commitment to delivering high-quality construction projects that enrich communities and enhance the lives of their residents. The company’s expertise and dedication to excellence were instrumental in bringing this ambitious project to fruition.

“Completing the Fort Bend County Epicenter is not just about constructing a building; it’s about creating a space where communities come together, where memories are made, and where the future takes shape,” said Charlie Fote, S&P Chief Operating Officer. “We are honored to have played a part in bringing this vision to life, and we look forward to seeing this remarkable facility serve as a hub of inspiration, entertainment, and connection for generations to come.”
