S&P Breaks Ground on Lake Houston MS

Alongside Humble ISD Superintendent, Dr. Elizabeth Fagen, Satterfield & Pontikes Construction (S&P) was proud to break ground on Humble ISD’s newest school, Lake Houston Middle School. This school marks the district’s 11th middle school. 

The 213,000 square-foot facility, designed by PBK, was part of the $ 775 million Bond 2022 package. With expectations to house 1,100 students, the three-story facility will also feature an outdoor learning area on each floor. The modern design also features state-of-the-art technology, safety features and collaboration space. Unique to this space will be a dedicated dance hall. 

“This school will be right in the heart of this fast-growing neighborhood and will serve as a central hub for the community,” says Calen Shearer, VP of Education. “We’re proud to be a part of crafting an environment where students will thrive, innovate, and excel.”  

Thank you to our partners at PBK and Humble ISD. We’re very excited to be a part of this new chapter. The Lake Houston Middle School is scheduled to open Fall 2025.
