Scott Whatley Joins S&P as Corporate Safety Director
Scott Whatley has been named Corporate Safety Director for Satterfield & Pontikes Construction (S&P). With over 30 years of experience in the construction industry, Scott has a rich background in promoting and enhancing workplace safety. In this role, Whatley will oversee all safety operations for the S&P Family of Companies.

Whatley has been a part of many award-winning projects, spanning across various countries including Belize, Guam, and the Virgin Islands. Wanting to be closer to family, Whatley’s decision to join S&P was solidified by S&P’s strong, family-oriented culture. His dedication to fostering safe work environments aligns seamlessly with our core values.

In addition to his experience, Whatley holds certifications as a Radiation Safety Officer (RSO), Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST), and Certified Safety and Health Official (CSHO). He is actively involved in industry associations, including the Board of Certified Safety Professionals, Associated General Contractors, and Associated Builders and Contractors.
