Project Spotlight: Komatsu Fabrication Building

In Longview, Texas, Komatsu Mining Corporation features a 155,000 square-foot manufacturing building with an additional 10,000 square-feet of office space and contains four separate severe weather shelter areas. Amenities include a break room, storage room, and shower facilities.

The $33 million manufacturing facility includes four 50-ton overhead cranes, 27 single leg gantry cranes, specialized machines, robotic components, and over six miles of process piping with bulk gas storage. The Komatsu Fabrication Building utilizes solar panels in an effort to be environmentally friendly and reduce energy usage. The Komatsu Fabrication Building received the 2022 TEXO Distinguished Building Award in the Industrial/Warehouse Category (Over $5M).
