Houston Community College’s Topping Out Ceremony

July 6, 2021

S&P’s work at Houston Community College’s Katy campus recently reached a milestone when city leaders and school officials gathered for its topping out ceremony. This event officially dedicated the building and celebrates the installation of the uppermost piece of construction material. Project Superintendent Clyde Pershall, Vice President of Operations Charlie Fote, and Vice President of Business Development John Marshall were among those from S&P in attendance.

“We heard nothing but great reports from the HCC Trustees, from the Chancellor, from the College President, from the College’s COO, from the Program Manager, and from the architectural teams,” said Marshall. “They were very complimentary of the entire team, of the effort and the teamwork, and of our solution-minded client focus.”

The $26 million CSP project is a new 3-story, 125,000 square foot building designed by Harrison Kornberg and PBK.

The new HCC campus will provide courses in a variety of areas of studies.
