Godley ISD Cuts the Ribbon on the New Athletics Arena

What an exciting time to be in Godley! Last week we joined Godley ISD and student athletes for the ribbon-cutting ceremony of the brand-new Godley High School Arena. The student-led event was a significant milestone for the community and marked their Volleyball home opener. The cutting-edge facility will be a hub for athletics, academics, and student activities and will enhance Godley ISD students’ learning and sports experience.
The new 1600 Seat Arena for high school volleyball and basketball includes additional classrooms and an additional High School presentation room. The space may also be utilized for practices, rehearsals and events for cheer, dance and the indoor percussion ensemble among other student groups. In addition, there are additional locker rooms and sports medicine training rooms.
“We’re grateful for the trust Godley ISD placed in us,” said Jason Haralson, S&P Senior Vice President, Dallas. “This facility will impact the community for generations to come, and we’re proud to have built it.”
Thank you to the Godley Chamber of Commerce, Godley ISD trustees and administrators, Huckabee architects, and all community members who made this day special. We’re grateful to have joined the celebration and be part of Godley High School’s bright future!
