The Nora’s Home hospitality facility located near the Texas Medical Center provides affordable lodging and support services for transplant patients and their families traveling to Houston for treatment at local hospitals. Phase I construction was a new single story 12,000 SF complex featuring 16 private bedrooms with adjoining restrooms, a large and fully equipped family-style kitchen, and a great room and community room.

The Phase II 15,000 SF expansion doubled the home’s capacity to 32 rooms. The healthcare construction project also included a replacement kitchen featuring four stoves with ovens, three dishwashers and ample space for cooking. Nora’s Home is a wooden framed building with masonry exterior clad in asphalt shingle roofing material and ceramic floor tile.
