This facility supports a comprehensive range of law enforcement and emergency response training activities. The 30-acre campus encompasses nine buildings, including a two-story Academy Building with a 250-seat auditorium, tiered classrooms, a fitness center, defensive tactics training spaces, and a kitchen/dining area that can also function as a staging area for emergency deployment. The Gun Range building is a tilt-wall structure housing both 100-yard and 25-yard ranges. The Simulation Facility offers immersive training scenarios and is equipped with modular wall systems to support a variety of training formats. Additional amenities include a half-mile driving track, outdoor obstacle course, skills tower, half-acre K-9 and handler course, and a parade deck to support diverse training requirements and ceremonial events. The complex is designed for expansion as training needs evolve. The project was made possible by a public-private partnership.
