Overview

One of the nation’s largest high schools currently under construction, the new Midland Lee High School is a 110-acre greenfield replacement campus. The two-story main building, constructed with steel and concrete framing and finished with brick veneer and curtain wall, was designed to serve 3,800 students with capacity to expand to 4,200. Academic and extracurricular spaces alike reflect the district’s ambitions: general classrooms, science labs, a 900-seat auditorium with black box theater, a cafeteria, and expansive courtyard areas are complemented by administrative offices, CTE spaces for welding and culinary arts, four gymnasiums — including one competition gym and three practice gyms — and specialized locker room facilities.

Beyond the main building, the campus features a dedicated, air-conditioned Multi-Use Facility with a full 100-yard indoor practice field, along with a separate indoor batting cage building. Outdoor athletic amenities span one baseball field, two softball fields, three practice football fields — one equipped with a competition track and bleachers — a hard-surface band marching practice area, and eight tennis courts.
