S&P Takes Home the ABC South Texas Excellence in Construction Award

We couldn’t be prouder to have accepted the Excellence in Construction Award at the ABC South Texas EIC Gala for our work on the new Oceans Behavioral Hospital.  Providing mental health treatment services in both an inpatient and outpatient setting, this ~26,000 square-feet, high-security psychiatric hospital is now open,  serving patients in and around the Lubbock, TX area.  

“I was particularly impressed by the team’s attention to detail when it came to meeting the numerous jurisdictional requirements for this type of project,” said Jason Turnbow, Principal at Guide Architecture. “Given the nature of the facility, S&P invested considerable effort and exemplified their commitment to uphold the highest standards in healthcare construction.”  

Oceans sets itself apart with meticulous construction elements unique to the needs of psychiatric care. Each element of the facility has been calibrated to prioritize patient safety in a secure and soothing environment.
