Nick Pontikes To Lead New Multi-family Center Of Excellence

February 5, 2021

S&P has appointed Nick Pontikes as Vice President to lead our newly-established Multi-Family Center of Excellence (COE).

The addition of this COE, along with those in Mission Critical and Healthcare, signals the company’s intent to diversify the scope of our existing portfolio as a means to increase market share and add value to the 32-year-old company.   The new COEs will complement the company’s existing Education and Aviation Centers of Excellence.

Nick Pontikes will formally establish the holding company’s offerings in the multi-family market sector as its new Vice President of the Multi-Family Center of Excellence.  Pontikes has recently completed the 22Hundred Apartment Complex with Pontikes Development and S&P as well as several industrial projects, including the Port 10 Logistics Center in Baytown. The Multi-Family team will explore a range of multi-family structure opportunities including stand-alone S&P projects or those where the company provides construction-only services for third-party multi-family developers.

“Nick has been focused on growing the development side our business for some time, so his expertise here is a natural fit to lead for our Multi-Family projects,” said Clay Morel, S&P’s president.  “Also, his knowledge of how S&P uses technology as well as the company’s commitment to doing the right thing for the right reason enable him to hit the ground running in Multi-Family.”
