S&P Promotes Nicholas Flannery to Vice President, Risk Management

Satterfield & Pontikes Construction (S&P) has promoted Nicholas Flannery to Vice President, Risk Management. In this role he has management oversight over Safety and Quality, Legal, Risk Management, Human Resources and Training for the company and its subsidiaries, including the newly acquired Eagle Contracting.

Most recently, Flannery has acted as Executive Risk Manager in coordination with S&P’s operations/ project management, Legal and Human Resources teams to implement policies and procedures that protect the company’s assets and minimize liability exposure. He has served in a variety of capacities since joining S&P in 2004.

“Nic’s in-depth construction knowledge, combined with his knowledge of how our company operates its business make him ideal to lead our Risk Management endeavors,” says S&P President Clay E. Morel. “His experience in safety and quality, contract compliance and operational management responsibilities as well as training ensure we are focused on reducing risk at all levels.”

Flannery has a degree in Construction Management from Purdue University where he sits on the Purdue University Construction Management Advisory Council. He is a member of the National Honors Society Phi Sigma Pi. A LEED Accredited Professional, Flannery is an alumnus of Leadership Dallas.
