Satterfield & Pontikes Construction receives 2025 Best Projects Award from ENR
Satterfield and Pontikes Construction is honored to announce that Freeman High School has been recognized with the 2025 Best Projects Award from Engineering News-Record (ENR) Texas & Louisiana in the Best K-12 Education category, and has also been named Project of the Year for its region!
Freeman High School, located in Katy ISD, is a 640,000-square-foot, three-story campus designed to serve 3,000 students. The facility features a comprehensive academic wing, a performing arts center with a 928-seat auditorium, state-of-the-art science labs, Career and Technical Education (CTE) spaces, and a standalone, mass timber Natatorium. The campus also includes extensive athletic facilities, such as a synthetic turf football field, baseball and softball fields, and tennis courts. As part of an educational village, Freeman High School addresses the district’s rapid growth and provides much-needed relief to surrounding campuses.
S&P is proud to deliver high-quality educational environments and we’re grateful to our friends at Katy ISD, PBK, and all partners involved for helping us create this innovative build.
