Why Construction Technology Matters
Measure Twice. Cut Once.
Integrating multidisciplinary design using a single 3-D model allows issues to be resolved in advance of construction, eliminating costly impacts of redesign.
Greater Predictability
The project team uses BIM at the earliest stage to visualize, optimize and rehearse complex procedures. The end result is greater certainty of agreed upon construction outcomes.
Enhanced Value
Modeling in 3-D drives accurate cost analysis and budget planning. Through the power of BIM, Satterfield & Pontikes creates a transparent and integrated process to provide value not only for clash detection but also for schedule analysis and proactive forecasting.
A Reputation for Innovation
Notable recognition for innovation within the construction industry includes American Institute of Architects Technology in Architectural Practice Building Information Modeling Awards for 11000 Equity and the University of Texas at Austin School of Law Jesse H. Jones Hall and multiple Vision Awards from Constructech Magazine.
Advancing Innovation at UT Austin
On the University of Texas Law Library Project, we used model analysis to lead real time collaboration with the team that helped ensure the project progressed in budget and on time. The BIM model also helped stakeholders visualize the completed phasing and coordination renovating the occupied building on an active campus.
