S&P is delivering a first‑of‑its‑kind, 510,000‑square‑foot advanced plastics recycling facility in Houston, Texas, overseeing all construction, equipment assembly, and commissioning activities. The project includes extensive upgrades to the existing building infrastructure along with full mechanical and electrical installation of the facility’s major processing systems. Key equipment integrations include shredders, trommels, metal separation units, optical sorting lines, and blending and storage silos.

Designed to process more than 60 million pounds of post‑use plastics each year, the Cyclyx facility will convert waste materials into high‑quality sustainable feedstocks, reducing dependence on fossil‑based inputs for the production of virgin polyethylene and polypropylene resins.
